Andreas Bußlehner ⁄ MY LIFE MOTTO:
“When it’s time to go, get going!
Today‘s small chance
may be yesterday’s great one,
that never comes back.” (author unknown)
SKILLS:
More than thirty years of experience in delivering optimal results and successfully finalizing major projects for globally acting customers in the rapidly growing business fields of infrastructure and oil & gas.
Prudent and performance-oriented leader personality with extensive technical knowledge and rich experience in engineering, construction and commissioning of power plants, electrical industrial plants, pipeline systems, tank-farms and ship loading facilities.
WHERE MY STRENGTHS LIE:
ANALYTICAL THINKING AND EMPATHY:
These skills, to put together acquire knowledge in my own words, completing the resulting image by targeted questions and consolidating divergent statements, puts me in the position to quickly assess the situation and to identify relevant contexts.
UNBIASED LISTENING:
In project management, you have to deal with people of different educational background and experience. Being able to listen openly and without bias is the basis for successful cooperation.
CONSTISTENCY:
I see the “Project Management” process as a holistic process. I am able to create realistic and adequate project plans that are based on the size, risk and complexity of the project. I coordinate and steer the process, taking into account the frame conditions and resources. I quickly and consequently react on any disturbances to ensure the compliance with deadlines and budgets.
DETERMINATION:
My concentration focuses on the project aims. I set challenging but realistic goals and commit myself to their achievement. At the same time, I am encouraging, use the team’s strengths and set clear priorities. I recognize risks of failure in due time and set appropriate counter measures to correct and keep them at a minimum level.
“Our chances of success improve immediately, as soon as we have a goal clearly in mind.”
(Ernst Ferstl (* 1955), Austrian teacher, poet and writer of aphorisms)
COMMUNICATION:
An active, conscious and adequate supervision of project-environment groups (stakeholders) and employees is important to me. Agreed targets, selected strategies, and procedures are communicated transparently and understandably. The same applies to status reports and forecasts.
SOLUTION ORIENTATION:
I consciously pay attention on a pro-active approach towards problems in the project team and in difficult project situations. I do not divert from problems, act hard and clear on facts, but in an appreciative manner towards any person.
